Make the AI decision before you make the AI investment

AI Assessment is the decision stage before implementation. I help you understand what is happening now, compare realistic options and decide whether further investment makes sense, whether you are looking at a workflow, an AI opportunity or how your business appears in AI Search.

When an AI assessment helps

🗺️ Not sure where AI could help?

Explore a workflow or business area to find the AI opportunities worth pursuing.

💡 Have an AI idea but not sure it will work?

See whether it can work, what it would take and whether it is worth the investment.

🔎 Not sure how your business appears in AI answers?

Establish a baseline before deciding what is worth changing.

How an assessment works

Step 1 · Understand

Define the question and understand how things work today.

Business goal · Current process · People involved · Examples

Step 2 · Verify

Confirm the facts that could change the recommendation.

Time & volume · Tools & systems · Data · Rules & exceptions · Buyer questions · Source signals

Step 3 · Analyse

Compare the options, what they would take and whether they are worth pursuing.

Impact · Effort · Cost · Feasibility · ROI · Visibility · Accuracy · Citations

Step 4 · Decide

Turn the analysis into a clear recommendation and practical next step.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to start with an assessment?

No. If the problem, requirements and scope are already clear enough, we can discuss implementation directly.

What do you need from me?

You do not need to map the workflow first — understanding it is part of the assessment. Show me how the work happens today and bring realistic examples where possible.

For an Opportunity Scan, I need realistic examples and input from the person or people who know the work well.

For an Opportunity Map, I work with at least one owner or decision-maker, plus the people who know the relevant work best. I use focused interviews, real examples and factual review rather than asking the whole team to stay involved throughout the project.

For an AI Search Check, I need your website, confirmed business facts and input on the questions customers ask before choosing you.

Can you assess my whole business for every possible AI opportunity?

Not under the current Scan or Map scope.

A Scan focuses on one task or workflow. A Map can go deeper across one complex workflow or one clearly bounded business area with related work and opportunities.

If the question is broader than that, we use the discovery call to define a useful scope first.

What if I have a specific AI idea but do not know whether today's technology is good enough?

Some questions need a limited feasibility test. If that is the real decision, the test is scoped separately.

Is this the same as an AI readiness assessment?

Not exactly. Some readiness assessments score the whole company. I keep the work tied to a specific business problem, workflow, bounded area or decision so the result supports a practical next step.
