Take repetitive work off your plate

AI automation uses software, integrations and AI where useful to carry out parts of a workflow with less manual effort. I help small businesses decide what is worth automating, choose the approach that best aligns with their business goals and build it with people in control where judgment matters.

Where automation tends to help

Common places to look first when work is repetitive, follows clear rules and moves through a predictable process.

📄 Documents & forms

PDFs, invoices, spreadsheets, records and recurring data entry.

🔍 Research & leads

Lead research, competitor checks and recurring information gathering.

🔄 Follow-ups & handoffs

Approvals, reminders, routing and record updates.

✍️ Content & admin

Drafting, repurposing and back-office work where a person still reviews the result.

Repetitive work gets expensive quietly

Small tasks repeated every week can add up faster than they seem.

What does one repetitive task cost over a year?

Labour time and cost only. Excludes errors, delays, missed opportunities, software and implementation costs.

How an automation build works

Step 1 · Understand & Simplify

Confirm how the work happens today, who is involved, what tools and information are available, and whether the process should be simplified before anything is built.

Step 2 · Design the workflow

Decide where regular automation is enough, where AI adds value, where a person should review or approve, how exceptions are handled and who owns the workflow after launch.

Step 3 · Build & Test

Connect the agreed tools and test the workflow, business rules, approvals, normal cases and likely exceptions.

Step 4 · Launch & Hand Off

Your team receives the working system, documentation, training and 30 days of launch support.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does every automation need AI?

No. Some work benefits from AI. Other parts are better handled with regular software, integrations or business rules.

What happens if the automation makes a mistake?

No automation is error-free. Depending on the task and risk, the system may use validation rules, human review, exception handling, logs or alerts. Before launch, we agree on when a person needs to step in.

How do I know if something is worth automating?

A good candidate usually happens often enough to matter, follows a process that can be understood and uses information or systems the automation can access reliably. There also needs to be a practical way to handle mistakes, unusual cases and decisions that still need a person.

Frequency alone does not make something worth automating. The expected value, implementation cost, ongoing cost and risk all matter. That is one of the things I check in an AI Opportunity Scan.

Can you work with the tools we already use?

Yes. I check those first. If something you already use can solve part or all of the problem, I consider that before recommending something new.

Are there ongoing costs beyond your fee?

Usually, yes. Third-party software, API, hosting and usage fees are separate unless the project scope says otherwise. I identify the expected ongoing costs before you approve a Build.

What happens to my business data and accounts?

Before implementation, we review what information the automation uses, which systems process it, who needs access and whether any information requires extra care.

Your business keeps ownership of its data. Where the tools allow it, production accounts stay in your business’s name and my access can be removed after handoff.

What happens after launch?

A Build includes documentation, team training and 30 calendar days of launch support. After that, you can manage the automation yourself or use AI Automation Care for scheduled maintenance and support.
